Globally, it has been estimated that 1.3 billion people lack electricity and twice that number (40% of humanity) rely on wood, coal, charcoal, or animal waste to cook their food—causing lung disease that kills nearly two million people a year. Use of tradional fuels also contribute to deforestation and climate change.
For industrial and commercial activities the lack of reliable power and high fuel costs represent significant challenges for doing profitable businesses, while the noice and pollution from generator sets are daily nuisance.
Our vision is to contribute significantly to the use of Sustainable Energy (SE) in developing countries and thereby contributing positively to sustainable development, health and the combat of climate change.
Our mission is to provide SE solutions in existing markets and to develop markets where none exist.
In existing markets - where SE already is an alternative to traditional energy - we offer scaleable solutions based on solar, bio and other renewable energy resources, providing 'free':
Where no markets exist (typically in rural areas) we offer to develop local markets for widespreading of SE, and thereby make SE a reality also for the poor.
